UES recently created a conceptual vision for Rivers Avenue for our Pecha Kucha presentation on streets.  Our vision is a boulevard approach, with thru-traffic in the center lanes and commercial traffic via 1 way slip roads.  This arrangement creates a safe and comfortable pedestrian realm, allows for bicycling, encourages buildings to front the street, reduces curb cuts, and ultimately results in a place of character.  We hope to see it someday.
