Mount Pleasant Farmers Market

The Farmers Market site was designed by urban edge studio for the Town of Mount Pleasant as a permanent installation to replace the temporary tents that were being set up weekly by Town staff.  The design includes two large open air structures nestled beneath the canopy of existing historic live oaks and a gracious paver area unites the two structures, providing ample spill over space for the farmers market festivities.  Much thought was put into how customers and vendors would use the space, how to best preserve the large trees on site, and how to create a space that is festive while maintaining the Lowcountry character of Mount Pleasant.
