Bill Eubanks, FASLA, CNU
Creative Director
Bill has twenty-seven years of experience as a landscape architect with an emphasis on urban design, campus design, residential community design, and park design for a wide variety of public and private sector clients throughout the southeast. He is a licensed landscape architect in the State of South Carolina and is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
His projects have received numerous awards including Chapter and Southeast Region ASLA Awards, a Charter Award from the Congress for New Urbanism, The International Downtown Association, an Achievement Award from the National Association of Regional Councils, and the James C. Howland Award for Urban Enrichment from the National League of Cities.
He served on the Board of Trustees of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is past Vice President of Membership for ASLA and currently serves on the ASLA Policy and Finance Committees, and as Chair of the Subcommittee on Student Leadership Development of the Emerging Professionals Committee.
He has spoken at several ASLA conferences and universities, including speaking at the last six consecutive LABASH conferences – a national student conference. The most recent was at the University of Guelph in Canada.
He has conducted or participated in numerous public meetings and design charrettes and has been Certified as a Public Meeting Facilitator, a Charrette Planner, and a Charrette Manager by the National Charrette Institute. He firmly believes that a designer's aspirations cannot be realized in solitude and the truly simple, honest, and unique solutions are found only through collaboration.

Russ Seamon, CNU, LEED AP
Project Director
Russ, beginning work at SeamonWhiteside + Associates as a summer intern at the age of 17, has 11 years experience (5 full time after graduation from University of Georgia) in the field of Landscape architecture, focusing primarily on planning. He has designed, managed, and overseen the installation of many projects in the private sector categories of retail, hotel, residential, muti-family, and mixed use.
He has participated in a variety of Urban oriented projects including the Coleman Boulevard Urban Re-development Plan and the city of Allendale Downtown Re-development Charrette. Russ is currently working on several transect oriented New Urbanist site plans in the City of Charleston.
Russ is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the programming committee for the organization. He recently acted as a Charrette Facilitator for the ULI Reality Check, an event targeted at creating a strategic regional growth plan for Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties in the state of South Carolina.
He is a member of the Congress for New Urbanism and attended the 2008 Congress in Austin, TX. Russ is a constant student of New Urbanism, always seeking a new book to read, a lecture to attend, or a project to study.
Russ is a strong believer in the importance of the Charrette. He feels that projects are much more successful in terms of design, function, public acceptance, and marketability when their solutions are based on goals and ideas arrived at through community input. Russ also believes that use of New Urbanist design principles are a means of creating a framework for a socially and environmentally sustainable way of developing, growing, and living.
Haley Weeks, A. ASLA, CNU
Urban Designer, Graphic Specialist
Haley Weeks has been working with SeamonWhiteside+Associates since 2006, but began as an intern while attending Clemson University. While in school, she had the unique opportunity to study architecture abroad at the Universitat Politecnica De Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. She graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 2005, and worked for a firm in North Carolina before returning to SW+A.
During the past two years, Haley has participated in several design charrettes for communities such as the Town of Allendale and the Town of Mount Pleasant, master plan development for civic improvement projects, and residential, commercial and recreation projects.
Zach C. Bearden, ASLA, LEED AP, CNU
Client Services, Urban Designer
Zach Bearden has been working with SW+A since 2003 and has 7 years of experience working for Landscape Architecture and Civil firms. Zach graduated from the University of Georgia Magna Cum Laude with as a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Zach is an alumnus of the Lamar Dodd School of Art’s study abroad program in Cortona, Italy. While attending UGA, he held several prominent roles in student and community government organizations and was engaged in several campus projects including the Brooks Drive Pedestrian Mall, and the Gate 6 Improvements to Sanford Stadium.
Zach has managed and designed many successful commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. He takes a practical approach to ensure the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of every project. Zach is a LEED ® Accredited Professional and believes that sustainable and environmentally responsible developments can be made financially feasible through Integrated Design. He recently attended the U.S. Green Building Council’s annual meeting and expo; Green Build Chicago. Zach strives to incorporate his knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials in all of his work. Zach is a licensed Landscape Architect in the state of South Carolina and a Certified Arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture.
Zach is a member of the Urban Land Institute and served as a facilitator for the Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester County Reality Check Event. The event was a regional planning exercise that brought together individuals from all sectors to start a dialogue to determine a unified vision for our region as we approach the year 2030.
Zach is a member of the Congress for New Urbanism, the American Society of Landscape Architecture, the International Society of Arboriculture, and is an associate member of the AIA. He is an active member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Developers Council and a recent graduate of Leadership Charleston. Zach currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club.
Cameron Clements, LEED AP,
Urban Designer
Cameron began her career at SW+A as a part of the University of Georgia’s selective 6 month internship program in 2006. After graduating with a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture she returned as a full time employee in 2007.
Over the past two years she has worked on a wide variety of project types including, hospital, hotel, mixed-use, and parks and recreation. She found her niche while working on the Colman Boulevard Revitalization Master Plan as well as the Sullivan’s Commercial District Master Plan. She has been geared toward urban design ever since.
Cameron is a LEED Accredited Professional and has attended many ULI and other workshops and lectures. She continually strives to incorporate sustainability into all aspects of her life.
